M408C - Differential and
Integral Calculus [Fall 2015]
This course is an introduction to calculus for engineering
and natural sciences students (which therefore includes
mathematics majors). It focuses on improving proficiency
with calculus, without diving too far into the rigorous
theory of analysis that underpins it.
This semester I am working as a TA for one of the classes
being taught by Dr. Jamie Pool. Timings for the course can
be found below:
Lectures:
Discussion Sessions:
- TTh 2:00-3:00,
SZB 330 (If you're registered for 52756)
- TTh 8:30-9:30,
CLA 1.106 (If you're registered for 52757)
Office Hours:
- M 12:00-1:30, Th 9:30-11:00, RLM
11.130
The discussion sections will start on the
27th of August. The general structure of these will be to
discuss the problems set by Dr. Pool in class, and to answer any
other questions students may have about the course that time
allows for. Attempt the problems before the discussion sessions
and bring your work with you, with an idea of which questions
you couldn't do or found particularly difficult and would like
to discuss.
Notices:
During finals week I will be
holding additional office hours on Monday 12:00-1:30 and on
Wednesday 16:30-18:00.
