Structure:
Each day will cover roughly one quarter of the course. We'll
discuss problems selected by the class from problem sets produced
by Jay Whitehead of the Sanger Learning Center, which are
available below. Printed copies will also be made available in
class. I recommend that students attempt at least part of the
problem sets before class so that they can identify which problems
they would most like to ask questions about during class. Ideally
students will come to class having attempted as many of the
problems as possible, and with a list of the problems they would
particularly like to talk about.
