Are there other courses that can be counted toward Requirement 13(e) of the Statistics, Probability, and Data Analysis specialization of the math BS?

Sometimes new courses that meet the spirit of this requirement are introduced or given on a one-time only basis. A list of such courses is below. If you think there is another course that should be added to this list, or if you have arranged with a faculty member to take an independent study course that you think may qualify, please contact the specialization advisor, Dr. Martha Smith, mks@math.utexas.edu, 471-6142, RLM 10-136.

In order to have one of these courses count toward Requriement 13(e), you will need to have a staff advisor in RLM 4.101 prepare a petition, which will need to be signed by the specialization faculty advisor.
