Course grades are posted outside my office. I gave considerably more A's and B's than in my previous M403K classes. On the other hand, the cutoffs were considerably higher, so some of you may be disappointed. The cutoff for an A was 88%, for a B was 75%, and for a C was around 60%.You are welcome to look at your exam papers this afternoon, tomorrow, or after New Years (I'll be away Dec 20-31.) However, individual exam grades will not be posted anywhere.
Midterms:
The first midterm was Thursday, September 21, 9:30-10:45AM, Hogg Auditorium. The exam is closed book, but you are allowed to make and bring a single 8.5 x 11 2-sided "crib sheet". You can write what you want on the crib sheet -- formulas, worked problems, inspirational messages, whatever -- but it must be in your own handwriting. Xeroxing material from the book, or from anywhere else, is not allowed. Calculators are not allowed.2nd midterm: Tuesday, October 24, 9:30-10:45AM, Hogg Auditorium. The same ground rules as the first exam will apply. In particular, calculators are not allowed.
3rd midterm: Tuesday, November 21, 9:30-10:45AM, Hogg Auditorium. The same ground rules as the first exam will apply. In particular, calculators are not allowed.
Final Exam:
