Cheng Yu

I am currently a Bing Instructor at Department of Mathematics, The University of Texas at Austin. My mentor is Professor Alexis Vasseur .

I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Aug. 2013 from University of Pittsburgh, under the supervision of Professor Dehua Wang.


I am interested in analysis, Partial differential equations, and applied mathematics. Here is my CV.

  • My joint work with Alexis Vasseur has been selected to be the topic of a presentation at the Seminaire Bourbaki in IHP, Paris, June 2017.
    The Sèminaire Nicolas Bourbaki (Bourbaki Seminar) is a series of seminars (in fact public lectures with printed notes distributed) that has been held in Paris since 1948. It is one of the major institutions of contemporary mathematics, and a barometer of mathematical achievement, fashion, and reputation.
