Getting to UT Campus

The Math Department is housed in the Physics-Mathematics-Astronomy (PMA) building, located at 2515 Speedway.

FROM ABIA

There are several Rideshare and Taxi options, as well as Shuttles and rental car companies at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport. More information on ground transportation at ABIA.

The CapMetro mainline bus system provides access to many different parts of the Austin area, including Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and UT Campus. Visitors traveling to and from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport can take Capital Metro's high-frequency Route 20. FROM I-35 NORTH

  • Use the lower deck
  • Take the exit at the 32nd street
  • Stay on right
  • Pass the traffic light at 32nd Street
  • Turn right at E. Dean Keeton Street (26th Street)

 

FROM I-35 SOUTH

  • Take the Manor Road exit
  • Turn left on Manor
  • Turn right on Red River Street
  • Stay on Red River for about 0.5 miles to Dean Keeton
  • Turn left on Dean Keeton

  

Parking on UT Campus

There is no free visitor parking on the main campus (aside from loading zone parking). Visitors are advised to park in university parking garages. No permit is required to park in the garages; just pull a ticket on your way in and process it at the exit, a paystation, or the garage office before you leave. Fees are calculated based on the amount of time you are in the garage. Garage daily parking offers the closest, most convenient spaces to all areas of the university for visitors.

The closest parking garage to the Math Department is the Speedway Parking Garage (SWG) located at 105 E. 27th Street.
