Calculator update: The missing calculator has been found.
Final Grades:
Grades are posted outside my office. The cutoffs were 87% for an A, 75% for a B, 65% for a C and 50% for a D. For people who took the final, I assigned 9 As, 16 Bs, 10 Cs, and 3Ds.
Final Exam:
The final exam was on Friday, May 10 from 2-5. The ground rules are the same as the 2nd and 3rd midterms, except that two crib sheets were allowed. The average was a 68, with a standard deviation of 20.5
First Midterm:
The first midterm was on Thursday, February 7 in ESB 223, and covered Chapter 2. The exam is closed book, and calculators are NOT allowed. However, you may bring a "crib sheet" with handwritten notes on both sides of the paper.
Second Midterm:
The second midterm is on Thursday, March 7 in ESB 223 and will cover Chapters 2 and 3. The exam is closed book, and calculators are allowed. As on the first exam, you were allowed to bring a "crib sheet" with handwritten notes on both sides of the paper.Third Midterm:
The third midterm will on Thursday, April 11 in ESB 223 and will (probably) cover through Chapter 5. The ground rules are the same as the 2nd exam.
