The plan is to finish chapter 4 and cover 5.1,
5.3, 5.4. We will cover chapter 5 quickly. For
example, I do not intend on lecturing on 5.2
(quadric surfaces) although you should read it.
Also we'll skip 5.5 (triply orthogonal surfaces).
Also we've already discussed 5.6 (inverse function
theorem) so there's no reason to go back over it.
There won't be a quiz due next week.
Wed:
Fri: We did not get to chapter 5. We're
almost finished with chapter 4 (we still haven't
discussed signed angles on oriented surfaces).

For Friday, the plan is to go back over some parts
of 7.4 that we didn't have to time to cover last
time and then cover 8.3 (the pseudosphere) and if
there's time 8.6 (closed surfaces have some
positive curvature).
